Shriram Fiprid is a broad-spectrum, dual-action insecticide manufactured by Shriram Farm Solutions. It combines two active ingredients to offer both systemic and contact control against major sucking pests and soil insects.

Product Description

  • Technical Name / Active Ingredients: Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG (Water Dispersible Granules)

  • Formulation: Granular (WG), which dissolves easily in water for uniform application
  • Mode of Action: Systemic and contact action. Fipronil disrupts the central nervous system of insects, while Imidacloprid blocks nerve transmissions, providing immediate knockdown as well as long-lasting protection. It also exhibits a phytotonic effect, promoting plant vigor and crop greenness.

Usage & Application Instructions

  1. Timing: Apply at the onset of insect infestation or pest appearance on the crop.

  2. Foliar Spray: Dissolve 0.2 g to 0.4 g per liter of water (roughly 3 g to 6 g per 15-liter spray tank) for general foliar applications

  3. Soil Application / Drenching: For pests like White Grub or Termites in crops like Sugarcane and Groundnut, apply directed near the root zone during early growth stages or soil irrigation.

  4. Precautions: Ensure complete and uniform coverage of the crop canopy during foliar spraying. Wear protective gear (gloves, mask) during mixing and application.
